DIFOT (Delivered In Full, On Time) and OTIF (On Time In Full) are the same metric and can be used interchangeably.
Both measure whether deliveries are made within the agreed timeframe and with all items included.
This is a critical logistics KPI as it shows the percentage of perfect deliveries – those that arrive exactly when promised with everything the customer ordered. Transvirtual automatically tracks both delivery timing and completeness to give you accurate performance metrics.
Transvirtual automates DIFOT tracking by comparing actual delivery times against promised transit times. For example, if a consignment is due on January 10th, the system automatically marks it as DIFOT compliant if delivered on or before that date. Any deliveries missing their deadline are flagged as non-DIFOT and require an exception reason to be logged.
Every delivery gets a complete digital paper trail. This includes GPS-stamped departure and arrival times, electronic proof of delivery with customer signatures, photos of delivered goods if required, and any exception notes.
The system also maintains historical DIFOT data, letting you track improvements over time and demonstrate your reliability to potential customers.
